About The Artist

Shaina Evoniuk is a dynamic electric and acoustic violinist, composer, bandleader, and arranger who has captivated audiences for over a decade. Whether flying overhead on an aerial rig, rocking with a hip-hop band, or leading one of her genre-fusing ensembles, Shaina brings a contagious energy and virtuosic presence to every stage.

A graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Shaina currently tours with William Close & the Earth Harp Collective and leads the Jazz Mafia String Section. Her recording credits include violin performances on Leon Bridges' 2019 GRAMMY-winning track “Bet Ain’t Worth the Hand,” Lizzo’s Cuz I Love You, and Alphabet Rockers’ GRAMMY-nominated The Love.

She has performed with a long list of iconic artists, including ODESZA, Train, Macy Gray, Third Eye Blind, Gregory Porter, DJ Qbert, and Deltron, to name a few. Her solo album Hitwoman Honey received critical acclaim, and her latest project, Cosa Nostra Strings, continues to break genre boundaries with collaborations like their EP featuring soul singer Lilan Kane.

Shaina’s performance highlights include appearances at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, the Super Bowl, and international festivals in Canada, China, and Mexico.
